Marlowbraid Classic Control Lines

Marlowbraid, developed and manufactured by Marlow Ropes, is their longstanding, leading 100% polyester solution for cruising performance halyards, proven over decades of weekend sailing, voyaging and passage making worldwide.

Classic Marlowbraid is a versatile running rigging line for traditional cruising yachts including halyards, control lines, reef lines, tack lines, vangs, down/outhauls, furlers, runners and preventers.

Marlowbraid is not normally recommended for sheets, because there is a tendency for the line to flatten around winches under load.

Cover: Durable 16plait polyester
Core: twisted, loose laid 3-strand polyester construction delivers minimum achievable stretch (approximately 4%) without dyneema content
