Open Online within Government Guidelines

We are fortunate to operate from a small fishing village with all our team living close by in the community with near-zero ‘travel to work’ times.
This allowed us to reduce the Jimmy Green Team to a skeleton crew while the lock down was in place.
The team is almost back to full strength and working enthusiastically to keep pace with increased sales.
This has meant the introduction of new working hours combined with enhanced anti-viral measures to ensure that we are acting responsibly.

Delivery Options and Services

Team Jimmy Green is working hard to ensure that the increased orders we are receiving are fulfilled with minimum delay.
We have re-introduced our 3 Working Day Priority Service.
Please email or telephone if you require a speedy delivery.
Otherwise, please allow up to 10 working days for splicing and rigging orders.
The turnaround time varies between 4 and 10 working days, so please bear with us

We advise you to select a delivery address which falls in line with the current Government Covid-19 measures and please take all the normal Covid-19 precautions on receipt of your parcel.

Royal Mail, Parcelforce, DHL and DPD ship our orders according to your selection at checkout. All the delivery drivers have been instructed to observe physical-distancing measures when dropping off your parcel.

Please be aware that none of the couriers will guarantee next day delivery, and they are all taking a little longer than normal to fulfil their consignments.

Expected Order Completion Times

Our suppliers are all operating, but still in a reduced capacity, with some resultant supply issues.
Some manufacturers shut down operations completely during lock-down and lead times are still affected.
Transit times for delivery from our European partners are longer than usual.
We will keep you updated on any orders that we can’t fulfil due to stock shortage.
Splicing and rigging orders may take a little longer than usual, varying from 4 up to 10 working days, but we are working hard to get the orders completed as quickly as possible.

Telephone Answering Hours

Our telephone hours are currently 9am -5pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9am - 2.00pm.
We are closed Sundays and public holidays for anything other than urgent email/contact form enquiries which can be addressed remotely.
Please bear with us as although the lock down has been eased, we still need to operate within COVID-19 guidelines, which means that some of our crew are still shielding or home schooling :-)

Finally, and most importantly,
Let us continue to look after one another, be kind, remain patient and learn to appreciate the simpler things in life.
The rivers, estuaries, channels, seas and oceans are beckoning, but we are very aware that there are still some people who can't or don't want to access their boats yet.
