Kong was founded in 1830 in the foothills of the Italian Alps by Giuseppe Bonaiti. The company changed its name to Kong in 1977.

From design to packaging, Kong's complete manufacturing cycle is produced in a 10,000-square-metre factory at Via XXV Aprile 4, 23804 Monte Marenzo (LC), Italy.

Every single product is quality-checked by qualified technicians and robot-tested at 70% of the published break load in-house before being supplied worldwide.
