Majoni Fenders

Jimmy Green Marine offer all our Majoni fenders with an optional top quality LIROS polyester lanyard spliced directly on to the eye of the fender by the Jimmy Green Rigging Team

The complete range of Majoni Star Fenders in 5 sizes are in stock ready to splice and despatch: Sizes Star 1 - Star 5 in 5 colours: white with blue ends, all white, black, navy and anthracite.

Majoni fenders are rotation moulded from top quality, UV resistant, soft but strong PVC, resulting in retained flexibility, unaffected by temperature extremes. Majoni fenders have a unique design brass valve which facilitates inflation, deflation and reinflation. Majoni fenders and buoys require minimal maintenance and should be washed with clean soapy water.

Majoni state that the best way to inflate their fenders is to push air pressure from a compressor with a flat head against the valve. Inflation can also be achieved with a bicycle or foot pump using the Majoni unique brass adaptor.

N.B. The use of a needle type adaptor will damage the valve.

Majoni recommend an optimum inflation pressure = 0.2 bar - at this pressure it should be possible to visibly press in the fender wall with the flat of your hand. The pressure may change with the temperature so it is important to keep a check on inflation.

Majoni Fenders are normally supplied inflated N.B. Large fenders will be sent DEFLATED to all Islands and for all Export Orders You can also email your preference for deflated fenders, please include your order reference.

Optional Spliced Lanyards

Jimmy Green fender lanyards are spliced and finished in house to our exacting standard. Each lanyard is spliced directly onto the rope eye on one end with a round turn for good measure. The other end is finished off with a neat heat sealing.

Custom splicing lead times therefore apply to fender orders with spliced lanyards.

All Jimmy Green Fender Lanyards are produced from Top Quality LIROS 3 strand Polyester. Available online in Black, Navy or White as per the specification chart below.

This splicing is produced to order: It is therefore possible to stipulate a different colour, length or diameter by email or telephone if required.

Lanyard Specification: Top Quality Liros 3 strand polyester spliced directly onto the eye of the fender with a round turn by the Jimmy Green Rigging Team. Each splice consists of 4 full tucks and a taper tuck.

Dimensions = fender diameter x fender overall length

Volume = litres Lanyard = lanyard length x rope diameter
