Harken are revered throughout the yachting world as longstanding champions of design and production excellence.
Harken offer a classic style or the technical Radial® concept to attract both racing and cruising sailors.
Harken winches make a massive contribution to sail handling efficiency and consequent crew safety, comfort and pleasure:
- Smaller winches that carry higher loads
- Stress-free seasonal maintenance
- Single person installation
- Simple upgrades to power
- Super strong composite roller bearings and bushings to reduce friction under load
- Load bearing gears and pins from 17-4 PH stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance
- Patented angle of ribs on the radial drum to drive the wraps of line down for optimum safety and control.
