A Contactor, also referred to as a control box, solenoid or relay, is an essential component in a wiring loop for operating a remote windlass control from the cabin or cockpit
Quick Contactors comprise remote control switches encased in a factory-sealed, corrosion resistant container.
The internal switches are designed to simplify and speed up the electrical connections that they serve.
The terminals are external for easy wiring accessibility.
N.B. do not install upside down i.e. with the terminals pointing downward.
Quick Contactor features:
- 3 or 4 terminals
- 12V or 24V
- Self-extinguishing shock resistant polyester resin casing
- Corrosion Resistant
- Waterproof Rating to IP66, excluding external terminals
- 4 terminal contactors are reversing relays
