The Profurl Small Boat Manual Reefing System is specifically designed for yachts between 5 and 7 metres long.
It is easy to install on the existing stay, and maintenance-free.
All systems come with a 10 year world-wide warranty meaning you can cruise with peace of mind.
The principle to attach the drum onto the stay is always the same, whichever type of lower terminal is found at the bottom of the stay (eye or turnbuckle.
The clamp (7) is always attached onto the lower swage terminal (not the forestay wire), and should be as close as possible from the upper end of the lower swage terminal.
The C260 is not designed to be fitted over a Norsemann®, Sta-Lok® or similar type of lower terminal.
The halyard is self contained using a turning block located in the top cap fitting.
The halyard is fed through a jammer on the drum and then acts as the furling line for the system reducing deck clutterl.
Doubled guide arms avoid any risk of riding turns or the line coming out of the reefing-furling system.
