Sarca Excel Shackle and Chain Compatibility Guide
The Jimmy Green Rigging Team have tried each potential combination to ascertain which size galvanised bow shackles will fit with each size Sarca Excel anchor and the corresponding calibrated anchor chain.
The tests have been carried out with Green Pin Bow Shackles
It is important to note that:
Jimmy Green Galvanised Pin Bow Shackles and Yellow Pin Bow Shackles are physically identical in size to the tested Green Pin version.

Helpful Hints on how to interpret the tables:
Find your chosen anchor
Shackle to Anchor - Scroll across to find the size of shackle where the pin will fit to the slot in the anchor shank (there may be a choice)
Shackle to Chain - Select the shackle size from the column corresponding to your anchor chain
For example
22kg Size #5 - Shackle Size to anchor = 10mm - for 8mm chain = select a 9mm shackle - for 10mm chain = select a 10mm or 11mm shackle
