KTS Spinnaker Adaptors provide a unique conversion, seamlessly adapting the Karver KF V3 standard Straight Luff Furling Range into a Top-Down Furling system.
KTS transforms your Straight Luff Furler to accommodate a wide range of sail configurations, including asymmetric spinnakers, gennakers or any sail configuration where furling should be initiated from the top and rolled downward to the tack.
The KTS Spinnaker Conversion System offers a straightforward and effective solution, enabling you to control a spinnaker from the safety of your cockpit - a practical and hassle-free alternative to the conventional spinnaker sock.
Karver KTS Installation Recommendations:
- Select the matching KTS Swivel Adaptor (e.g., KTS1.5 for the KV V3 1.5 Furler) to ensure manufacturer-guaranteed results
- Attach the KTS Adaptor directly to the top fork of the furling wheel
- Attach the tack of the sa - to the KTS Swivel so that only the upper part of the sail rolls up as the furling begins
- The sail should be progressively compressed to form a tight roll around the anti-torsion rope as it gradually works down to the bottom
- An anti-torsion cable is required to connect the system together
- Regularly rinse your KTS with fresh water to offset the effects of stowage in the bag
