Jimmy Green Danbuoy Flag Protector, a simple tube with end cap and attachment eye for thin cord (not supplied) which covers the flag preventing flogging and UV degradation
Attach the line to e.g. backstay to ensure swift deployment
The internal diameter of the tube = 21mm, internal length = 280mm
N.B. Flags on the Offshore and Ocean Danbuoys (where a light is fitted) should be protected by the quick release velcro flag strap.
Both solutions prevent flogging in the breeze and allow swift unravelling upon deployment.
