Lubricate Pawls and Springs to maintain parts moving freely and keep the winch rotating smoothly.
Harken recommend that you service your winches at least once annually and preferably before the season.
If you keep your boat in salt water it is best to check your winch at least twice a season and if you race you may want to check your winch before each regatta.
Keep your winches clean and operating smoothly by flushing frequently with fresh water.
