The Mantus Mooring Snap Shackle is designed for quick and secure attachment to a mooring buoy, featuring a locking pin to ensure that the gate will not open accidentally.
The Mantus Mooring Snap Shackle is ergonomic and easy to use, following these simple steps:
- Ensure the locking mechanism is disengaged prior to deployment
- Pull the clevis ring to withdraw the pluner pin
- Open the gate
- Close the snap shackle over the mooring buoy ring (or other similar attachment point)
- Engage the locking mechanism for added security
