All Jimmy Green Block and Tackle components are selected, measured, cut to length, spliced, whipped and reeved together in-house by the Jimmy Green Rigging Team.
These purchase systems are produced to order and, therefore, subject to splicing order lead times.

The Jimmy Green 4:1 purchase system is designed to help cope with heavy loads by effectively dividing the weight by a factor of 4.
For example, if you want to achieve a straight lift of 120kg, you will need 30kg of pulling power. If you think that 30kg is unmanageable, you will either need a system with more purchase: 6:1 or 8:1or you will need to add some other form of physical advantage into your system, e.g. a winch.
Please note that the information above applies to a straight lift - it will take less pulling power if you only try to move a load sideways.
The top fiddle features a cam to grip the retrieved line.

Jimmy Green Handy Billy 4:1 Purchase System Specification:
3 metres extended length plus a 1-metre tail
12 metres 8mm LIROS Braid on Braid EVO bright white polyester with blue fleck spliced to the becket on a fiddle block with cam cleat and reeved in combination with a fixed fiddle block.
Longer Version - Approximately 6 metres extended
24 metres 8mm LIROS Braid on Braid EVO bright white polyester with blue fleck spliced to the becket on a fiddle block with cam cleat and reeved in combination with a fixed fiddle block.
Both versions:
The fiddle has a stainless steel carabine hook and 1 metre 8mm LIROS 3-strand polyester spliced onto the other end.
The hook makes for an easy snap-on action to secure the load.
