More Information
Jimmy Green Heavy-duty Shoreline Mooring Webbing Strops are designed and produced for the lifting market, where stringent working load safety factors are standard.
Pass the strop around the mooring point, bring the two reinforced loops together and secure them to the floating shoreline.
The abrasion-resistant webbing 5-metre loop should be long enough to go around most strong points (rocks, trees) with sufficient length to take the brunt of the abrasive nature of the foreshore before connecting to the floating shoreline.
With a 7:1 safety factor on these slings, you can expect break loads as below:
Colour | Working Load Limit | Manufacturer Break Load |
Purple | 1 tonne | 7 tonnes |
Green | 2 tonnes | 14 tonnes |
WLL = Working Load Limit
SWL = Safe Working Load
MBL = Manufacturer (Safety Lifting Gear) Break Load
Polyester is renowned for excellent resistance to UV degradation and abrasion, making it ideal for securing floating shorelines to land.
The lines are long enough to wrap around large rocks, crags and trees.
