Features
Wichard Self Locking Shackles feature a patented security system to prevent the pin working loose due to vibration or any other accidental reason.
The self-locking feature is based on cleverly designed indentations in the shackle body which engage with the matching lugs on the head of the pain as it is tightened.
As the pin is tightened, rotating into the shackle body, the lugs align with the indentations, and the pin is prevented from turning anti-clockwise unless force is applied by hand.
Wichard hot drop-forging provides increased strength and enduring manufacturing consistency.
Each shackle is CE marked in accordance with the Machines Directive 2006/42.
